Our exceptionally capable and friendly team members are our greatest assets. Our dental hygienist and assistants are licensed professionals with many hours of training.

Gwen Duong, RDH

Hi, I’m Gwen! As a dental hygienist, I love helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their oral health. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and later pursued my degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Since 1997, I’ve been part of the McLean DDS family, building lasting relationships with our wonderful patients and making every visit a positive experience.

I live in Fairfax, VA, with my husband and our energetic Cavapoo, Capri. We have three grown children and cherish every moment we get to spend together. Outside of the office, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and making memories with family and friends.

Dominique Fenwick

Hi, I’m Dominique! As the office manager, I’m here to make sure everything runs smoothly and that every patient feels welcome the moment they walk through our doors. With over 10 years of experience in dentistry, I’m passionate about creating a warm, friendly environment where patients feel like part of our dental family.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of three, a wife, and the lucky owner of a playful dog named Marley who keeps our family entertained. I love spending time with my loved ones, singing, dancing around the house, and enjoying good music. Bringing warmth and positivity into everything I do is what makes my job so special!

Deandrea Mason

Hi, I’m Deandrea! As a dedicated dental assistant with over six years of hands-on experience, I am passionate about providing exceptional patient care and supporting my team in delivering high-quality treatments. Since 2018, I’ve honed my skills in both clinical and administrative tasks, including patient preparation, instrument sterilization, X-ray assistance, and record-keeping. I’m always looking for ways to continue learning and improving the patient experience while helping our office run smoothly.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and exploring new restaurants—I’m always up for trying something new and exciting!

Jony Nieto

Hi, I’m Jony! As a sterilization technician, I make sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly so that our patients always feel comfortable and well cared for. I focus on maintaining the highest standards of infection control, sterilizing equipment, and assisting with front desk duties to keep our office running seamlessly. I’m also expanding my clinical skills to transition into a full dental assistant role, and I’m excited to continue growing in this field!

When I’m not at work, I love staying active with workouts, exploring new restaurants, and traveling to experience different cultures. I always bring a positive attitude and a smile to everything I do!

Yeshi Sherpa

Hi, I’m Yeshi! I’m a proud McLean High School alumna and have been part of the McLean DDS team since 2019. My role spans both business operations and patient support, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while assisting as an administrative liaison. I love creating a welcoming experience for our patients and making sure their non-clinical needs are met with care and attention.

Outside of work, I have a passion for traveling and exploring different cultures and cuisines from around the world. I also love embracing new hobbies and experiences—there’s always something exciting to learn!
